ive never seen so many bad beats especially late in the tourny. I feel like they have poker star staff players in theri big tournies who just roll their ways to the final table sucking out one after naother and if your lucky enough to avoid thse people the entire game thats how you make the final table. I was short stacked with 10gs, average 25 gs, with about 150 left, 3000 k guarantee tourny. I proceed to see the big stacks suck out a-3 to aq, 10s to aces, the nof course on me a2 dominate smy 10-5 after a flop of 8-8-5 (guy tried to bluff then donked off another 7 gs of his 60 g stack calling me down on that flop with a 2 offsuit and rivers an ACe) i saw all of this in the span of 10-20 minutes, such a joke i love poker os much and this is the best lay out so i keep going back, i never play for big just 25 bucks but jesus man i have neever been more disgusted then when i play on this site, it doenst matter when or what im playing it ends up in a bad suck out on my all it (but the rest of the hadns play our right so pokerstars has proof) I just hope to god one day it becomes legal in the US, a US pro site is open up, pokerstars gets throw to the euros and i never have to deal with those bastards again. I am not a bad or mean person but I hope all those fucks at pokerstars get caught fucked and throw in jail to rott away becasue they are stealing. Poker stars is the biggest scam i know. I have been playing for over five years on this site and it has now ended. I have been burned by the exact same hands many times and i think its time someone does something about it. I am presently getting a petition done with thousands of names on it to get these idiots off the internet once and for all. It is a huge scam and myself and a good lawyer are working on it. There software is fixed and I know an ex employee who has ratted them out informing me of the scam. Poker Stars your days are limited.

I opened my account, and began playing real money, i put 100 us dollars in the account and made over 300 dollars. I’m from Colombia and i didn’t know any player, and it happens that when i requested a cashout they told me that i was involved in chip dumping, ARE U KIDDING ME???, thaey asked me for an id and a few other things, so i was hoping that it was just a misunderstanding and sent everything they needed. After a few weeks the sent me an e-mail telling me that my account was cancelled and that the decision was final. I tried getting in contact but they just decided to ignore my e-mails.
If somebody knows what i can do, please help me.

I was tempted to google pokerstars being a joke after getting beat for the millionth time by a ridiculous hand. I would also like to sign this petition. I honestly do feel that someone has to start a class action law suit to get these jokers to stop making millions off people. I have played on PS for over 4 years and have realized that the shittier the hand, the better the odds of me winning. It has gotten so bad that i now play any two hands, and trust me they end up winning nearly 80% of the time, but when i get a good hand such as my recent KK, i get called with q9 off, guy goes all in, i call thinking my KK is still good, but what do you know….he flops the straight.. this is a such a common trend on PS. Pokerstars has turned my real poker game, foundations etc into a joke, thanks to them i am now a horrible poker play. Hope that this could be grounds for a class action against them..lol

the last couple of weeks, i’ve seen it all. and mostrly after flop, that’s just horrible.

I lost with KK against 56 off suite (flush), i lost with qq against 24 (nobody hits on the flop, turn and river 2 and 4) …

Hi, i play at stars sometimes and would like to share my experiences with
them.

A few years back i would be playing 3 table games and i was getting booted
often. I knew something was wrong, demanded a refund and the supportshills
told me tough luck.

Now when some POS tells me tuff luck, that doesnt really satisfy me.

I was booted again but this time i had TWO modems installed. As the usual
there was VENX. EVERYONE got booted AGAIN, except for VENX again. When
booted, the pokerstars victim would have to physically reinstall their
modem. Well I had a DSL and a phone modem this time. When i asked VENX
what the deal was he told me not to complain since i would have second
place.

Again, i told the supportshills at stars about this. They asked me if i
had saved my hand histories and unfortunately i said no. Stars then EDITED
my hand histories and banned me.

I then complained via Rec.poker only to have a stars shill insult me.

If you know who VENX is/was I’d like to speak with him.

VENX is no longer the issue. The scum that run Pokerstars are my issue.

VENX, if you see this please contact me. I want to hurt the people who
discredited me in any way legally possible. Quite frankly I would enjoy
hurting them in other ways but i don’t feel like doing 10-20 for gutting
as many stars employees as possible. Yeah, i’d be a suspect.

I found out how pokersites have been getting crashed recently.

I am debating on sharing the methods used so that if it happens to any of
you, you can fix the problem.

Unfortunately i found a way to do it with complete anononimity so the
culprit will never be caught. I am debating on sharing the methods used so

is closed for a number of hours.

Jokerstars is a complete joke. I’m now convinced that it is contrived to make people think they can actually play poker so they’ll throw their money away at the real money tables.

For two years I’ve played the site and watched. I’ve given up at tables and gone all in with garbage, against much better hands with far better odds, and I’ve won the hand on the turn or river. Repeatedly.

Tonight I dominated, absolutely dominated, a tournament. Four times more chips than anyone else at the table. Suddenly I started getting garbage. Fold after fold. Pre-flop odds of 10% or less. The short stack, with almost no chips, rallied back hand after hand after hand, showing each hand after the win, making ridiculous odds. Then, the next short stack, hand after hand. They beat out the third place. Goes all in with AK suited. I have pocket rockets. The flop is a 3 card flush in his favor.

I have seen more pair/single flops on jokerstars than anywhere else, period. One out of probably every three hands. People calling high/low offsuits and making the hand over people with 1 in 6 to 1 in 4 odds.

It goes in circles. One person will go on an unstoppable run, winning no matter what they play. Then, the next person at the table, then the next. I’ve dominated hands, right to the river only to lose to ridiculous holes. I’ve called ridiculous crap holes on these “streaks”, only to get myself the most absurd straight. Tonight I gave up in one tournament because the impossible kept happening repeatedly. Called with a ridiculous off-suit split. Went all in. Wouldn’t you know? Jokerstars magically filled in the pieces for a straight, crashing and burning far superior hands, making them get mad and calling it “lotto poker”. Even us, on this end, were calling it absolutely absurd.

I had a friend that decided to give up on their old nick and created a new one. That night they won every single tournament they played until Jokerstars banned the account for being a “duplicate”. In other words, one player, two accounts. They refused to leave them with the new one and kill the old one. They refused to rename the old one to another nick. That player has won ONE tournament since out of several dozen played.

After two years I can go on and on about stories I’ve seen. Stuff that would never happen on a real poker table. Indeed, stuff I’ve never seen on a poker table, ever. Flopping quads? People calling 9/3 and getting quad 9s? All in with J/4 to the full house or trip Js? Give me a break.

Odds calculators (and I’ve tried them just to see if I was out of my mind) are completely useless at Jokerstars. All the typical rules of odds and strategies are almost completely useless, save for a few (bidding over, buying blinds, etc).

Jokerstars claims their site is audited regularly. There’s absolutely no bloody way that it’s random. I have no idea how it’s done, but what I do know is that there’s absolutely nothing random about it. It’s all geared to making people think they can make it on the money tables. The more you play, never paying out real money, the more ridiculous the hands you lose.

Oh. Did I mention having diamond flush holes and getting a club flush flop? Or any opposite suit for any flush hole? How about getting a flush draw, only to get sucked in at the river against a ridiculously low pair? Odds? 1 in 4 against 1 in 26. Once? Ok. Repeatedly? Fat chance.

And on.. And on.

POKERSTARS IS A RIGGED HOLE AND THE CROOKS AND SCUM WHO RUN IT SHOULD BE THROWN IN PRISON. RATIONAL ENTERTAINMENT ENTERPRISES KNOWS HOW TO STEAL YOUR MONEY AND GET AWAY WITH IT AFTER ALL THEY ARE EXPERTS. this site is an absolute pile of shit. the worst thing is is that i find myself playing it knowing that im not going to win because someone will just suck out with a completely shit hand in almost every tournament i play. near enough every hand you see someone hitting two pair only for the board to put out a potential flush or straight draw and some lucky chaser always hitting. and people like this arsehole ^^^^^ who has won 1 tournament in his life defends them. u either work for them or u just havent played on the site for long enough. bunch of c****!

i think i know what going on in the internetpokerworld….its not only pokerstars it all sites……i have been playing for poker for about 5 years now….the first 3 years i was doing really good….but since 2007 i started to loose almost every coin flip….i started to loose more potts then i won with big favorit hand…..and now i play on pokerstars and they dont give me a good winning couse they know i would kill the pros easaily if the gave me a bankroll i come a lot in the money in the small turnaments and allways going out with shitmoney with best hand…..the dont even give me top 4 5….i get kk utg somebody has AA and how can u fold kk in a 10dollar turney…its not ept o wsop…anyway…in the beginning it was not only me winning my friend won….i let some friend play for his first time on my account he won 1k without knowing what he was doing….my friends friend won everybody won….almost every day y heard some kind of story where some of u friend won big….today….2 3years later…i dont win and i havent heard one of my friend winning….the same thing that happens to me happens to my friends…and we where all winners now we are looser….so i think that in the beginning they let everybody win….poker is very strong drug….and now we are stuck…we are pokerslaves…..suffering from the bad beat sickness….7 or 8 out of 10 times we have jacks to kings there is and a on the flop and the new player that cant play has a5of…..and we think we are unlycky….and gus hansen sitting going all in with k high 100k potts and we are dreaming about i wanna play him what a fish….they are owners this is just commercial…tv u are watching commercial not a pokerschool…all pokerplayers dream i wanna be there on the tv….everbody fighting but u will never be…how? they wont let us win anymore now we are slaves for the rest of our lives…i give up

There is no doubt JOKERSTARS is a joke! I have been playing poker for ten years, mostly (95%) live cash and tournaments and I think that Jokerstars is obviously scamming players for one reason or another (we all have our suspicions why but will never be able to prove it). I have made final table at WSOP and cashed other events and I am here to tell you….If you play on this site you are a fool!! Before I quit playing on that jokesite I saw soo many sick bad beats it wasn’t funny, I would bet money that a card was coming to screw me almost every time I got it all in with the best. Any decent player can tell you that the odds of that sick beats happening in a real game is not going to be.

I have seen hundreds if not thousands of bad beats in live tournaments and cash games and the most common response by idiots are “you play a lot more hands in online games therefore you are going to see more bad beats”. So I guess this means no matter how good you are you are going to lose online because you see more bad beats? ARE YOU FUGGIN KIDDING ME? IDIOTS!!!!

The fact is they (Jokerstars) are setting you up with cold hands, unreal runner runners, sick allins with horrible hands to suck out on you all the while you know you are playing the hands correc if not perfectly. Jokerstars knowing what you will do by odds calculations, algorithms and statistics can and do play you like a fiddle.

One reason they do what they do is for the rake, Jokerstars is making cash hand over fist and with that much money comes greed! If they reward the shitty players, guess who will keep playing. If they screw the good players, most of them think it is bad luck or just a bad run and keep comming back knowing they are good and need to prove it to themselves (yes…degenerates like most of us poker enthusiasts).

So what have we learned? Uninstall that fugged up site and never go back. Tell everyone you know not to play on that site and post as much as you can to inform others as well. We can hurt their profit margin and “KARMA WILL GET THEM” (If disgruntled player doesn’t find and torture them first).

Within probably less than 80 hands (2 days) of installing PS software, I saw TWO straight flushes, one a royal, and 3 four of a kind. Yeah, sure thing…

- I have played at Poker Stars for 5 years now or just under and I absolutely agree that this site is rigged I also think that they have a certain strategy like a switch almost that good players can win and then lose for 2 weeks straight and then back to normal. I had my share of bad beats every day and still manage to have 18% ROI in tourneys and cash out weekly playing on tables. If you really want to make some money or just break even and make thousands of FPP’s its still possible on PokerStars just extremely boring because you cant enjoy the game now that you know that you have to play aggainst other players as well as the site itself trying to screw you because they dont like you cashing out. So the only hands i play is A-something suited to get the nut flush or a pocket pair to get trips or full house and that really is boring but at least when i put the money in i know that not only i put it in with best odds but that i got the nuts and all that money is coming back to me and then some.
During the time period when I was discovering this strategy to beat pokerstars I was testing it at .01/.02c tables and what do you know the statics on these tables seem to be almost or even 100% correct but once you move up to 10/.25 cent tables watch out LOL its true try it out!!!!!!!!!!!! At least you will make 50 bucks a week and some points even if you know u are capable of making hundreds , but its still beats losing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i played 75800 hands (100% true, all real money not including freerolls and playmoney, they sent me my statistics) at pokersarse in 6mnths(which is a lot for some, not a lot for a pro or someone who cant get their fat 320 pound arse off the couch or is allergic to UV), and have not cashed out yet.
At micro stakes i win consistently, making the money very often, profitably even(lol.. profit, wasting time really, yu could get more “profit” from begging).

In a freeroll i can beat 64,485,987,352 people to win a shitty weekly ticket that starts at 6am on a monday morning(i live in southern hemisphere). Consistently.

i move up levels and evrything gets busted hard, and i mean ridiculously hard.
HU sng’s at micro i win 65-70% over 100+ games, then move up and, yep you guessed it, get smashed by b.s…
Pokersarse Staffbots tell me variance is measured over 10k hands, so what about the othe 60k? Then they tell me that luck is also needed? so is it a gambling site or not? Nuff said.

This about sums it up. Same story here…I deposited $200 and ran it up to $1350 within two days. Once I’d initiated a withdrawal, I couldn’t profit for the life of me – Pokerstars is an unscrupulous, contrived farce.

Poker stars is a scam, your all right. Im just sharing one out of the thousands ridiculous unreal situations at the site. I sat down at a 5/10 NL table with 400 chips, just to play some blinds. At the table was one “known pokerstars player” (regular TLB) with about 500chips. And i got dealt AA. “known player” raises to 50, I re-raise to 150, everybody folds, and it was up to “known pstars player” who thinks (or should i say waits) for about 85 seconds (almost folded due to time) and pushes all in…. I call, and guess what the flop was????? K K 3… ok now guess what “known pokerstars player” had……………………….. yeah you are right, he had KK. oh what a surprise. STARS never again!!!! bs website.

And yet we continue to play it. Why? Because now it’s not about beating your fellow patrons – it’s about trying to beat “the game”.

And there’s no doubt in my mind that it is a “game” (iow “scam”). The second time I ever played a Sunday money tournament, I finished in 65th out of 32000 and won over 2K. That should not happen to a newbie. It wasn’t talent, for sure, it was simply that I was getting cards and draws all over the joint. The only reason I didn’t finish higher was because of my own bonehead play (remember, I was a NEWBIE).

After that, it’s been nothing but a conglomeration of every comment found on this thread.

There’s no doubt that they want you playing. I’ve experimented on the free section with folding everything. They don’t like that. When 2/3 of the field is gone, they start loading your hands. I’d get AK, AQ, JJ in a five-hand sequence. I was finally getting low from all my folding so then so I played the jacks. Got the third on the flop. Sure, why not? All-in. Got beat by running diamonds. And before the river I KNEW that’s what was going to happen.

Another time, I CALLED an all in on a 9-6. Now, there is zero chance that any real player in a real game would do something that stupid, but I wanted to see if PS’s magic would work for me in this situation like it normally does against me when I’m packing a pair of good hole cards. Sure enough, two nines showed up on the flop. The poor guy that all-inned his pocket aces gets mad at me (as he probably should, though the game was free). I tried to explain I did it on purpose to prove a point – that he should be mad at PS, not me.

They are vengeful, no doubt about it.

The dude i was playing was a bit of a donk and i was up 20dollars after two mins of play, until joker stars dealt me A A… here’s what happened. Im in bb guy raised me, i re raise him, he calls. Flop 2h 5c5h i bet pot, he calls, turn 10h, i bet pot again he calls, river 7h, this scared me coz there was 4 hearts on the board so i checked. He then bet about a quarter of the pot and i called. He then shows me 3 6 off suit. He called me to the river with fucking bull shit and called my re raise preflop and got rewarded for it. We both back to evens after that bullshit until he rivers me again. Basically he re raise me on the turn with absolute air and i have 2nd pair and then he catches the river and wins the pot.After this i went on super tilt and lost all my money. They’re fucking scamming c*nts.

I was watching Joe Cada Online playing $100 / $200 heads up. The other player got AA so raised Cada from $200 to $2000 and Joe reraised to $4000 the 2nd player re-raised again to $6000, Joe flat calls the flop was A 4 5 player 2 bet $10000 joe calls, turn is a 10 multi suited no flush chance player with trip A’s goes allin Joe snap calls he had 6 7 off suit. the river was an 8 so now there is a straight unbelievable… But it was on pokerstars…. Favoring there top profile.

Here are my bad beats:
Preflop I hold AA, guys goes all in short stacked with 8, 10. I call and the flop comes 8 8 10 rest of the cards are duds.

Preflop I hold AK suited. Flop comes 725 same suite, J off suite then 9 same suite. I have nut flush and guy has 6 8 same suite for a straight flush.

Next hand I have again AK suited. Flop comes Q27 two cards suited, then 8 then a 2 creating a A high flush for me. The other guy has a Q2 for a full house.

These are just three of my recent hands. I have had and have been on the other side of many, MANY bad beats on this website. I believe there is no randomness to it and it is completely rigged and unregulated.

I once all-in’d my pair of queens after a small pre-flop raise ahead of me, and a guy behind me called, about 8K in chips. I had him covered by about 500. Opener folds. We turn over. He has a 7-3 offsuit. Yes, that’s a 7-3 offsuit. Then comes the flop. 3-3-5. Well, you know how it ended. After the hand some guy says “WOW, I don’t believe it”. I said, “I do. I was blatantly cheated, and I challenge someone to say I wasn’t”, fully expecting the moderator to come online and do something about my comment. He didn’t. And the caller didn’t say anything, either. Only one player commented – “Lottery poker, that’s what it is”.

Pretty hard to argue.

I have this issue everytime i cashout which unfortunatly is not very often. When ever i cash out if i try to play any tourney for the next couple of days i lose hard and fast. ON THE GAMES THAT DID NOT PAY WELL HE JUST RAN THE CHIPS UP REAL HIGH ABOUVE ALL THE OTHER PLAYERS IN THE GAME AND LEFT HIS NAME IN THE ROOMS UNTILL THEY BJINDED OUT BUT THE 2 GRAND BUY IN HE STAYED AND TOOK THE 6800 OR 8600 A CANT REMEMBER THE AMOUNT. THERES ALOT OF HIM IN THE ROOMS!!!! THEY CHANGE NAMES ALL THE TIME BUT ITS STILL NOT HARD TO SPOT THEM.WHEN THEY AT A TABLE WITH YOU AND TRYING TO GET OUT THEY WILL USE 2 OR MORE PLAYERS AT THE TABLE AND NO MATTER WHAT YOUR HAND IS IF YOU GO ALL IN YOUR GOING TO LOSE ON THE RIVER! WHEN I KNOW THEY THERE AND IM THE MARK THEY AFTER ILL FOLD POCKED A’S YOUR NOT GOING WIN…… IF YOUR [MARKED} TO BE KNOCKED OUT!!! YOUR BEST BET IS TO BUILD YOUR STACK EARLY IN THE GAME WHILE THEY BUSY WITH OTHERS AND START WATCHING FOR REALLY BAD BEATS THEN TRY TO SLOW YOUR PLAY TO THE POINT OF TIMMING OUT. ONCE THEY SEE WHAT YOUR UP TO YOU WILL START GETTING AWSOME HANDS SOME THAT YOU KNOW CANT BE BEAT BUT TRUST ME THEY CAN BE AND WILL BE. IM NOT SAYING YOU CANT WIN MONEY ON POKERSTARS BUT YOU CAN BUT ONLY WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO WIN. I FOUND THEY ROB FROM THE SMALLER GAMES ALOT MORE THEN THEY DO THE BIG ONES.AND YES THEY TAKE YOUR CHIPS WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON THE HAND AND SAY YOU LOST AND WHEN YOU GO TO LOOK AT THE HAND IN THE FILES IT WILL SHOW A CARD THAT NEVER HIT THE TABLE.I GET THAT ALOT! Once you cash out the whole game changes and you start getting bad beats and crappy hands. As you money dwindles you have to add more money and that is the scam. Bad beats are common-place and some of the one’s I have had are just not statistically possible so often. I am out of PS for good.

Yesterday the guy sitting beside me who by the way is so new he is not in any database, got AA 3 times in four hands. AA, xx, AA, AA.

Almost everybody at the table were complaining in the comment window, of the corrupt PokerStars cards.

I have played poker for over 20 years…pro for the last 10. Internet poker is not real poker. It does not reflect the way real cards lay down from a real deck. A fellow pro player (that is associated with pokerstars) asked me to check out the site and tell him what I thought. I have been playing the site for 3 weeks on and off….. The hands are a joke. My most common deal was a A 2 or a 2 3. I’ve seen more players get royal flushes in 3 weeeks then I’ve seen in real pro tournaments in 5 years. One night I was playing…First hand at start of room…. I had A A..and the flop was A 10 5. Everyone folded to my low bet. The next hand…… I had K Q…..the flop was A A Q… turn card was a K and the river card was…….an A. THAT’s 6 A’s in a 52 card deck?? Next hand got worse…. flop,turn,river was K K K Q A. Pokerstars is using a new deck every draw…………. Internet poker has just way to many variables like possibliity of cheating or having the computer programmed to turn cards a certain way….. I can say one thing though…… POKERSTARS.NET is a joke and a waste of anyones time if your actually playing with REAL money. Beware.

OMFG! 3 Years on Pstars, I have to leave the site for good though, some of the stuff I am seeing in there is worse then ever….. it’s like the program isn’t even trying to be subtle anymore. You can find yourself in a situation where you can call the cards, almost all the time. Oh look, I was ahead going into the flop, …. but it’s getting towards the end of the tourney now, and I’m short stacked. SO, they’re going to have to give the other player runner runner to shorten the tourney up….. yup, there it is……. runner runner. I don’t even get shocked anymore!

Oh WOW i cant remember on any other site that will let you get far into tourneys only to have u beaten by 7-2 or 6-4 or J-4 off. This has got to be a scam for good patient players to keep playing only to get out right before 15th place and thats where u actually start to make some money.lol
