Ok, above is the FEMA trailer here in Biloxi, when they finally sent relief down here.  Below are the new Katrina cottages.  These things are slightly larger than the campers above.  The Democrat in me says, “Damn this really sucks.  What did they use all that money on?”  The republican in me says, “Well, at least they have a roof over their head.”  The realist in me says, “Seriously, it’s good they have a roof over their head but someone really dropped the ball here!  Fire whoever that person was and all his sub-managers.”

PS: People in Biloxi are pretty nice folks.

Aaaannnnnndddd we’re back!

We rolled into the old homestead last night at midnight. In an effort to get back on my schedule, I have been up all night. We’ll see if my theory works. I will be posting the trip pictures soon.

Hello from Omaha, NE

Wednesday, August 1st, 2007

We have arrived in Northern Omaha, NE. We decided to come here instead of Sioux Falls, SD. Anyway, it was a long trip here, and sleep is coming soon. There is nothing to see here so there aren’t any pictures for this post. My friend Eric can cooborate this, since he lived here. Cya!

Hello from Mt Rushmore!

Oh, yea, after the scariest trip from Yellowstone to Billings, MT we are in our hotel! Here is a map of the road we took to Billings, try and find the worst part! Here is a hint, a 4 year old had a part in the planning of the road. Our whack trip up and down a mountain, in the rain, at night! YAY!

Whoa, Yellowstone is awesome!

We have tons of pictures from Yellowstone, but here are a few that were really neat!

Hello from Ft. Collins, CO

Wednesday, July 25th, 2007

Well, after a nice long trip we finally got to Ft. Collins, CO. Of course Isabell was great in the car and turned into a monster as soon as we got into the hotel room…just like yesterday. Yay us! Anyway, back to the trip. We saw a ton of corn today and a lot of cows, and it was the most boring trip ever! I really don’t know how people live out in the middle of Nebraska. There was nothing there and I can bet that nothing will be there 20 years from now. I really can’t wait for Yellowstone now!

Hello from St. Louis!

Monday, July 23rd, 2007

Well, we rolled into St. Louis last night and went to the arch. For those of you who haven’t been here, that thing is fricken huge. After that we went to the Loop district, the trendy college area and went to Fitz’ a soda bottling/restaurant. I had the salmon sandwich, in case you were interested, and the bread got soggy. Other than the soggy bread it was pretty good. Now we are going to the St. Louis Science Center, where they have the real-life science behind commic characters. This should satisfy the geek in me. Stay tuned for pictures, I haven’t had the time to download them from my camera yet. Peace!

The trip begins - Hello from Nashville!

Sunday, July 22nd, 2007

Stop #1 and we are in Nashville, TN. First impressions, they like their fireworks up here! We must’ve seen 7 or 8 fireworks stores, gas stations, and small distribution centers on our way to our hotel. Absolutely ridiculous, there is no need to have that much fireworks in a single area. Another thing, if you are ever here and decide to go to the mall, you will be frustrated at the Opryland mall. This is a gigantic mall and tons of people were moving around their parking lot. It took me about 10 minutes to find a spot, and I was just going to get dinner, that’s crazy! Anyway, next up is
