Screencaps the cool way.

I couldn’t get CF to produce a screen cap, but I was able to find a pretty neat site that does it for me, Browser Shots.  Not only can you generate a screen cap from Linux, Windows, BSD, and Mac but you can select the screen size, color depth, javascript, java, and flash.  The site keeps a copy of all the browser images for 30 minutes and then it’s removed.  If you are interested in seeing what your site looks like on a ton of different sites, you have to check out Browser Shots.

John McCain should fire his web development staff.

This is probably changed now, since the big announcement of Sarah Palin as VP, but I had to comment on this when I saw it today.  Seriously, in this day and age you are developing websites that aren’t cross-browser compatible??  Firefox is a real browser guys, come on.  Wow!
